Search Brevard building permit records and understand date limits

Brevard County directs current public building-permit searches to its Advanced Service Site (BASS), based on Accela. The County also publishes a legacy search for building permits from 1990 through 2002 and other permits from 1990 through 2007. This describes the posted sources, not guaranteed complete coverage for every record or parcel. Municipal governments maintain their own records. Grant-Valkaria records are an exception in the County search, with County Accela stating that municipal records before September 17, 2018 are not in that database. If a search is empty, incomplete, or unavailable, follow the official records request path rather than assuming that no permit exists.
