Brevard County Natural Resources Management participates in County development review and describes environmental review for single-family homes, pools, fences, subdivisions, site plans and land alterations. The applicable review depends on the parcel and proposed disturbance. The County provides environmental regulations and a permitting review process; these sources do not prove that a particular parcel is clear of wetlands, protected species, shoreline, stormwater or other constraints. Confirm the exact property and responsible local, State or federal agency before clearing, filling or altering land. Municipal and overlapping agency requirements may also apply.
