It publishes a two-page Building Permit Application, a miscellaneous permit form and a roof inspection affidavit. The building form identifies the Town of Baldwin Building Inspection Division and separates building work from associated electrical, plumbing, signs, pools, driveways, clearing/tree and portable-building permits. The form provides official-use fields for zoning code, zoning approval and final approval, so a municipal property match is not proof of zoning or building approval. Its revision date is old; the current official website still publishes it, but the current form version and project requirements must be confirmed with Town staff before filing. The Duval County Tax Collector's Local Business Tax Receipt page says businesses in Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach or the Town of Baldwin must also obtain a municipal Local Business Tax. Do not tell those businesses that the consolidated City/County receipt replaces the additional municipal receipt. The correct classification, current requirements and fees depend on the business and should be checked on the official tax collector and municipality pages.
