Jacksonville Beach publishes a separate Building Inspection Division and E-Permit Applications page. Atlantic Beach publishes its own Permits directory and Building Permits page. Once the exact property is verified within one of those municipal boundaries, use that city's official process and do not silently fall through to JaxEPICS. StartFL has not verified record automation for either city; a link to a portal is a handoff, not proof of permit status or absence.

The Duval County Tax Collector's Local Business Tax Receipt page says businesses in Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach or the Town of Baldwin must also obtain a municipal Local Business Tax. Do not tell those businesses that the consolidated City/County receipt replaces the additional municipal receipt. The correct classification, current requirements and fees depend on the business and should be checked on the official tax collector and municipality pages.
