    The application triggers zoning-compliance and fire-safety review. A building permit is needed if build-out goes beyond painting or minor remodeling, and applicable state or federal licenses may be required.

    Renew by October 1 each year

    Receipts are valid October 1 through September 30. Late renewal carries a 10% penalty in October plus 5% per month thereafter until paid.
