Developers and data minded riders can work with PSTA's schedule data in GTFS (General Transit Feed Specification) format, the open standard used by Google Maps, Apple Maps, Transit, and most trip planning apps.
Where the feed lives, verified as of 2026-08-29
PSTA's feed is cataloged in the Mobility Database (the successor to TransitFeeds/OpenMobilityData) as feed mdb-326, "Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA)". The producer URL on record there is http://www.psta.net/latest/Google_transit.zip. Honest caveat: as of 2026-08-29 that psta.net URL returns a 404 error. PSTA relaunched psta.net in late 2025, and the redesigned site does not currently expose a developer or open data page, so the direct download link on PSTA's own domain appears to be broken or moved.
The good news is that the Mobility Database hosts a working mirror of the latest feed it has collected from PSTA. This URL was verified on 2026-08-29 to return a valid zip archive (HTTP 200, content type application/zip, about 10 MB, last updated December 2025):
The feed's catalog entry, including any future URL updates, is at mobilitydatabase.org (search for PSTA or feed mdb-326). If you need a guaranteed current feed directly from the agency, contact PSTA at 727-540-1900 or through psta.net/contact-us and ask for the current GTFS endpoint.
What the feed contains
The GTFS package includes routes, stops, trips, stop times, and calendars for PSTA's fixed route network, including the SunRunner, local routes, cross county expresses, and PSTA operated trolleys. The feed's coverage area spans Pinellas County roughly from St. Petersburg north to Tarpon Springs.
For everyday riders
You do not need the raw data to plan a trip. PSTA schedule and map tools live at psta.net/rider-info/schedules-maps/, and PSTA service appears in Google Maps and similar apps that consume this same GTFS data. Real time detour and alert information is posted at psta.net/detours/.
